Within the scope of the Basketball Recovery and Organization Project in Guinea-Bissau (PROBASKET-GB), the Guinea-Bissau Basketball Federation organizes, on the 27th and 28th of May of the current year, in the city of Canchungo, the Sports Day - North Zone, a provincial tournament counting towards the Basketball Cup.
The tournament will feature 4 Junior teams and 4 Cadet teams coming from different sectors of the country, which are: Mansoa, Bissora, Bula and Canchungo.
The President of FBGB, Claudomiro Almeida, said that he will invest heavily in the decentralization of the sport in the country, being Basketball for All, his management will make every effort possible, so that, in the near future and with everyone's help, recover the modality and the competitive spirit that has always characterized this sport.

President of the Basketball Federation of Guinea-Bissau and his team are already in Canchungo for the Zona-Norte Sports Day.
Claudomiro Almeida, President of the FBGB and members of its board, arrived in Canchungo on the afternoon of this Friday, May 26th, for the Zona-Norte Sports Day that will take place at the Canchungo Basket field on the 27th and 28th (Saturday and Sunday ).
The work to requalify the field is very advanced, with technicians guaranteeing that in a few hours, everything will be OK for D-day.
