Journalist Aliu Baldé has been appointed to the position of communications officer for the Guinea-Bissau Basketball Federation.
The appointment is set out in order No. 04/2024, signed by the president of the Guinea-Bissau Basketball Federation, Claudomiro Fortunato de Almeida, dated the 15th of this month.
The president of the FBGB justified the appointment as a way of responding to the need to strengthen the federation's structure in terms of information and communication, with a view to better publicizing the Program for the Recovery and Organization of Basketball in Guinea-Bissau (ProBasket GB).
The FBGB wishes journalist ALIU BALDÉ every success in the role he has now assumed.
As part of the process of streamlining the actions of the Guinea-Bissau Basketball Federation management, and for a strategy that can make the implementation of the Guinea-Bissau Basketball Recovery and Organization Program (ProBasket GB) more efficient, with a view to achieving the desired results.
The FBGB felt the need to expand the representation structures of the Basketball Federation in the diaspora, and the president Claudomiro Fortunato Almeida appointed three representatives:
- Mr. JOSHUA LEON TITNA ROBERTS, FBGB representative in Chicago (USA);
- Mr. VINCENNIE SA, FBGB representative in France;
- Mr. WALID LYNWOOD ARTEST, FBGB representative in INDIANAPOLIS;
These gentlemen are appointed to serve as the link between the basketball federation and its partners in their respective countries.
